If you have Medicade or Medicare you can get your supplies at little or no cost. Your doctor can explain that to you. |

Your doctor may be able to supply you with some supplies but not all. You can probably get a meter and maybe some test strips, maybe even some insulin or oral medications. Pharmaceutical representatives often leave samples of their products with the doctors and the doctors can give these out to patients at their discretion. Ask your doctor. If you have insurance, when you go to the pharmacy, make sure they have that information. Also, in order to have your insurance pay for testing supplies and so forth, have your doctor write you prescriptions for what you need. Without a prescription, you have to pay full price. Yes, diabetes supplies are expensive. No doubt about that. Good luck. EMT |

Your insurance should pay for supplies. Are you newly diagnosed diabetic? Please check with your insurance. All your pharmacies carry supplies. Doctors offices usually don't unless they are doing samples. It is considered a conflict of interest for a doctor to sell prescription stuff. |

Just make sure you have a prescription for everything. If you have a prescription and run it through the pharmacist he will submit a claim to your insurance company. My husband got a prescription for needles, testing supplies, and even alcohol swabs! Talk to your Dr. he should know what to do and should be willing to help. Most insurance will cover it if it is required by your physician. |

Hello. I got a friend who pays for his medicines, one part of this fare is paid by his insurance. Here you can buy them at "Farmacia Paris ", but I'm sure you've never heard about it. It is so much cheap than Walmart. |
